Hi, I’m Rosie, the IGCSE Science tutor in the hub. I’ve taught science for the last 18 years, have been a Head of Science and an Assistant Principal in charge of teaching and learning, an examiner and now tutor full time and I absolutely love it!

I love working with teenagers, I love their curiosity about the world around them and I love that science gets to answer these questions for them! I am absolutely committed to all students having access to a brilliant science education so that they can become life long learners able to make their own exciting discoveries about the world.

A bit more about me, I live in Devon with my husband and our 2 young children. We spend most weekends on the beach or on the moor whatever the weather!

I have taught Science in schools for 17 years and had various roles within school alongside teaching, my favourite of which was leading on teaching and learning in the school as I love the science of learning!

I love helping learners grow in confidence, pique their curiosity about the world and realise that they can achieve more than they ever thought possible.

I am a compassionate, enthusiastic, hard working tutor, partner, mother of two and I love cold water swimming!

I am immensely passionate about all learners, no matter their background, ability or current situation, having a fair shot at achieving the very best that they can in their Science studies and I am delighted to be working with the Hub and our learners.
