Hello! I’m Carla and I teach a variety of Secondary Social Science sessions in the Hub. These currently includes Business, Law and Criminology. I am a Freelance Educator who enjoys a variety of roles. My most recent role outside of the Hub has been a Deputy Headteacher which I have thoroughly enjoyed. I am also an Educational Advisor for Claire House and examiner with a leading exam board. I have almost 20 years’ teaching experience and have led the pastoral care of students for the vast majority of my career. I have vast experience of leading Alternative Provision within the secondary system and that is why I adore the Hub and our learners within it soooooo much.

I am based close to my home city of Liverpool, have three children and two cats. I love music and always start my sessions with a song whilst everyone is joining. During my free time you will find me exploring the UK and France in our caravan.
